Packages apply to new bookings only for travel between 1 April 2025 and 31 March 2026. Package prices vary depending on the accommodation category and cannot be combined with other offers. Matangi is an adults-only resort. Persons under 16 years of age cannot be accommodated. Rates are valid at the time of publication. They are subject to change without notice due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to changes in the Fiji government's tax, fuel price increases, and currency devaluations. Check-in time is noon. Check-out time is 10 am. For departures after noon, our Sawana Lounge offers shower facilities and luggage storage. The availability of bures for day use depends on availability on the day of departure. For early arrivals before our official check-in time, breakfast is provided free of charge. For late departures after our official check-out time, lunch is provided free of charge. Matangi is a small, family-owned and managed resort with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We invite you to be immersed in our laid-back lifestyle and enjoy our Fijian hospitality in your Fijian home away from home. We are located on a remote private island where banks, ATMS, or cash-out facilities are not available. Small amounts of foreign currency can be exchanged for Fiji Dollars at our office, with standard charges applying for currency exchange conversions. As notes that are torn, marked, or otherwise damaged are not accepted by our banks in Fiji, Matangi does not accept them. The following credit cards are accepted: Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Merchant fees apply: Visa and Mastercard, 3.5%; American Express, 3.6%. All prepaid services that are not utilised cannot be refunded, exchanged, or transferred. Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended to cover any charges that may occur due to events, including but not limited to, trip interruption, non-operation of international and domestic flights, government quarantine in effect, border closures, cancellation, or issues related to lost, damaged, or delayed baggage.
