Taveuni Island Day Tour
A visit to Fiji would only be complete with exploring the island of Taveuni and its many natural attractions. Renowned for its rich biodiversity, Taveuni is also called The Garden Island of Fiji.
This tour includes visits to the stunning Tavoro Waterfalls, located within the 15,000-hectare Bouma National Park, the 180th Meridian Dateline, Wairiki Catholic Mission Church, Waitavala's natural rock slides, and Naqara town centre. Matangi provides a guide, lunch, and refreshments. This tour runs on Tuesdays. Private tours on non-scheduled days can be arranged. Additional charges apply.
The round-trip car and boat transfers from Matangi Island are FJD 300 / approx. USD 138 per person. This fee will be added to your room tab.
Bouma National Park charges an entrance fee of FJD 50 (approx. USD 23) per person. Please note that Bouma National Park accepts only Fijian dollars. It does not accept credit or debit cards, and there are no ATMs or cash-out facilities in the Park. Currency exchange is available at Matangi's office.
